

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy issued key directives to senior police officials during a high-level review meeting. He emphasized that every officer must act with responsibility as policing needs to evolve with changing crime patterns.
He instructed SPs to conduct regular field visits and IG-level officers to strengthen monitoring. The Chief Minister called for strict action against rowdy sheeters and enhanced surveillance of history sheets, along with a crackdown on ganja trafficking. He also stressed the need to adopt modern technology, increase CCTV coverage, and expand drone-based policing.
Revanth Reddy made it clear that corruption will not be tolerated and postings should be based on merit. He directed the implementation of QR codes in police stations for public complaints and called for better coordination in road safety and traffic management. He also emphasized the need for a strict law to control food adulteration.
