Remove Bandi Sanjay from the Cabinet: Kavitha

K. Kavitha has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking the removal of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar from the cabinet. In her letter, she stated that a case has been registered against his son under the POCSO Act, and for a fair and transparent investigation, he should not continue in his ministerial position. She urged the central government to ensure that the probe is conducted independently without any political pressure.

Referring to the FIR registered at Petbashirabad Police Station, Kavitha emphasized that the case involves a minor and requires a completely impartial investigation. She expressed concern that Bandi Sanjay Kumar holding a key law enforcement position could influence the investigation, evidence collection, and witness protection. She stressed that justice for the victim and public trust in democratic institutions must be upheld, and called for his removal from office until the investigation and legal proceedings are completed.
