The Supreme Court of India has granted significant relief to TVK MLA R. Srinivasa Sethupathi by staying the orders issued by the Madras High Court. The apex court’s intervention comes as a major development in the ongoing legal matter, bringing temporary respite to the legislator.
The Supreme Court has also suspended the restrictions imposed on Srinivasa Sethupathi, which had barred him from casting his vote in the Assembly. With this stay order, the MLA is now allowed to participate in Assembly proceedings without the earlier limitations, pending further hearings in the case.
