Minister BC Janardhan Reddy criticized that the Roads and Buildings (R&B) department was neglected during the YSR Congress Party (YSR Congress Party) rule under Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy (Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy). Along with MLA Varadarajulu Reddy, he laid the foundation stone for the Korrapadu road expansion works in Proddatur, YSR Kadapa district. The project will be taken up at a cost of ₹5 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that “Jagan’s rule was marked by destruction, while the coalition government began with development.” He alleged that roads were completely filled with potholes during the previous YSRCP regime. He further stated that within nine months of coming to power, the coalition government has spent ₹1,080 crore to make the state’s roads pothole-free.
