Tollywood anchor and actress Rashmi Gautam has once again spoken out about animal welfare and responded to those who troll her over the issue. Known for raising concerns about the treatment of animals, Rashmi said she does not mind being insulted or criticised, but urged people to question authorities about the conditions of animal shelters and government veterinary hospitals.

In a social media post, Rashmi questioned where funds meant for animal welfare are being spent and why proper facilities, sterilisation and vaccination programmes are not available for stray dogs and cats. She also raised questions about guidelines for cattle owners, increasing wildlife movement into human settlements and the future of greenery. Her remarks have drawn attention on social media.
