Rare International Honour For PM Modi In Sweden..

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held key meetings during his visit to Sweden. Modi met Crown Princess Victoria and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson to discuss cooperation in defence, semiconductors, digital technology and green energy sectors. He also interacted with CEOs of major Swedish companies and invited them to invest in India under initiatives such as Make in India and the National Green Hydrogen Mission.

Meanwhile, the Swedish government honoured PM Modi with the prestigious “Royal Order of the Polar Star – Commander Grand Cross.” It is considered Sweden’s highest honour awarded to a foreign head of government. This became the 31st international award received by Narendra Modi. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson also extended a grand welcome to the Indian Prime Minister during the visit.
