The NDA is set to form the government once again in the Union Territory of Puducherry. AINRC chief N. Rangasamy met Lieutenant Governor K. Kailasanathan and submitted a letter of support from MLAs, requesting to be invited to form the government.
The Governor’s office stated that the letter will be forwarded to the President for approval. Rangasamy is likely to take oath as Chief Minister on May 13, marking his fifth term in office. The NDA alliance holds 18 seats in the assembly.
