BJP Telangana state president Ramachandra Rao is set to launch a two-day hunger strike from Monday, demanding that the state government immediately clear pending fee reimbursement dues. The protest is being organised under the banner “BJP Ladayi on Fee Dues” and will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, continuing until 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
The BJP leader had planned to hold the protest outside the party office, but police reportedly did not grant permission for the proposed location. As a result, Ramachandra Rao will undertake the hunger strike inside the BJP state office. Party MPs, MLAs, MLCs and senior leaders are expected to participate in the protest and extend their support to the demand for clearing the outstanding fee reimbursement amounts.
