

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi at his statue near Tank Bund in Hyderabad on the occasion of his death anniversary. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, government advisor V. Hanumantha Rao, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and corporation chairpersons also participated in the tribute program. The Chief Minister described Rajiv Gandhi as a visionary leader who introduced technology to India and brought global recognition to the country.
CM Revanth Reddy stated that Rajiv Gandhi was a great reformer who laid the foundation for women’s reservations in the country. He said Telangana became a reality because of Sonia Gandhi’s courageous decision and noted that Telangana shares a deep bond with the Gandhi family. The Chief Minister demanded that the Centre immediately convene a special Parliament session and introduce the Women’s Reservation Bill, assuring full support from the INDIA alliance.
