Rajasthan Police have recovered an Israeli tourist’s missing pouch containing her passport, driving licence, four credit cards, electronic gadgets, ₹20,000 in cash and other important documents within a few days. The tourist, Mosharof Noam, was travelling with friends on a motorcycle from Pushkar to Ranthambore on October 19 when she discovered that the pouch she had been wearing around her waist was missing. After searching along the route without success, she approached Malpura Police and lodged a complaint. Losing a passport and financial documents while travelling abroad can cause serious difficulties, making the recovery particularly important for the tourist.
Following the complaint, local police officers and the District Special Team launched an investigation. They examined CCTV footage, collected information from local sources and questioned seven people who had travelled between Malpura and Mumana village that day. Their efforts led to the recovery of the pouch with all its belongings intact. The items were handed back to Noam on Thursday, and she expressed her gratitude to Rajasthan Police in a video message. The incident highlights the importance of prompt police action and assistance to international visitors travelling in India.
