Rain in Delhi at the End of September.. North India on Alert

Delhi witnessed rainfall in the last days of September after a gap of seven years. The national capital recorded 0.6 mm of rainfall on Tuesday, while the temperature dropped 5.1 degrees Celsius below normal due to the weather conditions. The rainfall activity is linked to a low-pressure area currently prevailing over southeast Uttar Pradesh, which is expected to influence weather conditions across Delhi and several parts of North India.

Widespread rainfall is likely over Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, while Punjab, Haryana and Delhi-NCR may also receive showers in the coming days. The weather department has indicated that further changes in weather conditions could occur after September 29. The low-pressure system is expected to keep rainfall activity active across parts of northern India during the period.
