Rain Alert for Both Telugu States

The Hyderabad Meteorological Department has issued a warning of moderate to heavy rainfall in several districts of Telangana on Sunday due to a trough extending across Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Officials have issued a yellow alert, forecasting thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds in many districts, including Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal, Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda, and Mahabubnagar.

Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority stated that rainfall is also likely in several parts of the state. Heavy showers are expected at isolated places in Rayalaseema, while Bapatla and Nellore may receive moderate rainfall. Light rain is likely in the remaining districts. Authorities have advised people to remain cautious due to the possibility of strong winds and lightning.
