During a two-night train journey from Bihar to Bengaluru with her two-year-old son, an Instagram user approached the Indian Railways pantry car staff with a small container and a packet of dry oats. She requested them to cook dinner for her child. The pantry staff reportedly accepted the oats and returned a freshly cooked meal within five minutes, leaving the mother pleasantly surprised.
Sharing the experience on social media while tagging Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the mother praised the pantry staff for their prompt and considerate assistance. She said the workers were cooperative and welcoming, adding that travelling with a young child can be challenging, but a little kindness during the journey can make a significant difference.
