Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra were released by Delhi Police after being detained during a protest near Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence. Rahul Gandhi was released from Chhatrasal Stadium Police Station, while Priyanka Gandhi walked out of Mandir Marg Police Station. Police also released all other protesters who had been taken into custody during the demonstration.
The Congress party alleged that police personnel used excessive force while detaining Rahul Gandhi. According to the party, he suffered minor injuries and a nosebleed after being forcibly dragged during the operation. The incident has sparked fresh political debate, with the opposition criticizing the police action and demanding accountability.
