Deputy Speaker Kanumuru Raghurama Krishnam Raju strongly reacted to controversial remarks made by Jai Bheem Bharat Party president Jada Shravan Kumar. He condemned the statement threatening to cut his tongue and send it to Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, calling it a criminal act and an incitement to violence. He stated that referring to Supreme Court observations and constitutional provisions does not justify such threats.
He also expressed anger over the alleged attack on Jana Sena leaders during the Ramalayam reconstruction issue in Akiveedu, stating that his remarks were being distorted along religious lines. Raju clarified that he has never disrespected any religion and said he would file a complaint only after Pawan Kalyan assumes charge as Home Minister. He expressed confidence that the government would not tolerate such remarks against a constitutional authority.
