Prove I Have Two Votes...Revanth Throws a Challenge

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inspected the ongoing renovation and modernization works at the Telangana Legislative Assembly. Speaking to the media later, he responded to criticism regarding voter list revision (SIR) and allegations that he possesses two votes. Revanth stated that anyone with evidence of him having two votes can file a complaint, adding that he had transferred his vote from one constituency to another strictly as per election rules. He also remarked that some critics were making baseless comments without understanding historical facts.

The Chief Minister said that Congress workers must ensure that the votes of tribal people living in tandas are not removed from the electoral rolls, as many migrate temporarily for work and return only during elections. He stressed that Booth Level Agents (BLAs) are best placed to identify genuine voters and alleged that attempts were being made to target the Congress vote bank. Revanth urged officials to focus on genuine voter list purification rather than deleting legitimate voters, adding that nearly 70% of the survey has been completed while the remaining 30% is still pending.
