Police have made significant progress in the PMJ Jewellery robbery case, with two accused now in custody. Multiple police teams have reached Karimnagar after arresting one of the key suspects from West Bengal and bringing him to Karimnagar late last night. Investigators are interrogating the accused to trace other members involved in the crime network.
During the escape route from Karimnagar via Dharampuri, the accused reportedly smashed a mobile phone at Maddur. However, locals later recovered the phone and handed it over to police, which is believed to contain crucial evidence. Along with the arrested duo, police also detained a trader who allegedly purchased stolen gold. Recovery of some stolen property has been reported, while searches continue across multiple states including West Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan to trace the remaining accused.
