Police Respond Swiftly, Traffic Restored

A major accident was narrowly averted on the NAD flyover in Visakhapatnam after a heavy container vehicle overturned late at night. The incident occurred when the container, traveling from Gajuwaka towards the city, lost balance while negotiating a turn at the rotary section of the newly constructed NAD flyover. Fortunately, the usually busy flyover had minimal traffic at the time of the accident, preventing any casualties.

Kancherapalem traffic police quickly reached the spot and managed the situation by regulating traffic flow. With the help of cranes, the overturned container was safely removed, restoring normal movement on the flyover. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, while commuters expressed relief over the narrow escape from a potentially serious mishap.
