The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to include the sensational PMJ Jewellery case from Karimnagar as a case study in the training program for newly recruited Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs). The session will focus on investigative strategies, the use of technology, evidence collection, suspect identification, and the operational planning that led to the successful handling of the case.
The case study will be presented by Karimnagar Police Commissioner Ghouse Alam during a training session at the Telangana Police Academy on July 18. The PMJ Jewellery case, which attracted statewide attention on May 3, is being recognized as a model investigation to help train future police officers in modern policing techniques.
