PM Modi Begins Australia Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Australia for a two day official visit. During the trip, he is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. The leaders are expected to discuss defence, security, trade, and ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.

As part of his visit, Prime Minister Modi will also address the Indian community in Melbourne. Australian authorities have put in place tight security arrangements for the visit following reported online threats.
