Pit Bull Attack in Patiala Leaves Couple Seriously Injured

A couple sustained serious injuries after being attacked by a pet pit bull while visiting a property in Patiala, Punjab. The incident reportedly occurred when the couple went to inspect a house they were considering purchasing along with a real estate dealer.

According to reports, the couple rang the doorbell after reaching the property. The pit bull, which was inside the premises, reportedly charged at them and attacked them. The dog inflicted multiple bite injuries on both the husband and wife before local residents intervened.

Residents rushed to the couple’s aid and managed to rescue them from the dog. The injured victims were subsequently shifted to a private hospital in Patiala, where they are receiving medical treatment.

A video purportedly showing the incident has circulated widely on social media, drawing attention to the risks associated with keeping aggressive or inadequately controlled dogs in residential areas. The incident has also renewed discussions about responsible pet ownership, safety measures and the need to prevent potentially dangerous situations involving pets.
