Pinarayi Vijayan Vacates Cliff House After LDF Defeat

Former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has vacated the official residence, Cliff House, in Thiruvananthapuram. He shifted to a rented house on May 11, 2026, following the defeat of the CPI(M)-led LDF in the Kerala Assembly elections.

As per his 2026 election affidavit, he owns immovable assets including around 78 cents of land along with agricultural property. His relocation has become a widely discussed topic in Kerala’s political circles and on social media.
