As part of cost-saving measures, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has taken a key decision following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s suggestions to reduce fuel usage. He has instructed officials to cut the number of vehicles in his convoy by 50 percent.
He also directed that the same reduction be followed during district tours, minimizing the convoy strength. Inspired by the Prime Minister’s appeal for economic discipline amid global conditions, he decided to implement these measures in the state as well. The Deputy Chief Minister’s Office stated that the initiative aims to promote responsible and reduced fuel consumption.
