Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will travel to Kerala on Saturday for further treatment following surgery on his right shoulder. He recently underwent surgery in Mumbai for a rotator cuff injury and, as advised by doctors, will undergo specialised Ayurvedic therapy in Kerala to support his recovery. Doctors had earlier advised him to take complete rest and stay away from public engagements for some time.
However, keeping his administrative responsibilities in mind, Pawan Kalyan resumed work at his camp office within a week. He attended previously scheduled government programmes, conducted departmental reviews and held internal party meetings. During this period, swelling in the operated shoulder increased and he also developed a high fever. Following medical advice, he will now travel to Kerala for specialised Ayurvedic treatment and recovery.
