Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan reviewed the progress of development works at Munikoodali in East Godavari district, which is being transformed into a Model Pushkar Panchayat for the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu. The project, being executed at an estimated cost of ₹7 crore, includes the development of the Sapta Rishi Ghat, a new CC road connecting the village to the riverbank, high-mast lighting, magic drains, soak pits, public toilets and a modern information centre for pilgrims.
The government is developing the village under the theme “Clean Godavari – Sacred Pushkaralu” with an eco-friendly, zero-liquid-discharge approach. During the review meeting, officials informed the Deputy Chief Minister that several infrastructure works were nearing completion, while others were progressing rapidly. Pawan Kalyan directed officials to speed up the remaining works so that devotees visiting the Pushkaralu receive safe, clean and world-class facilities.
