

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Forest Minister Pawan Kalyan has directed officials to implement special safety measures for devotees using the Tirumala Alipiri footpath, following reports of leopard movement near the Dorasani Mandapam area. He stressed the need for constant vigilance and instructed authorities to ensure that pilgrims do not face any fear or disturbance during their journey.
Officials informed him that coordinated efforts are underway involving the Forest Department, TTD Forest Wing, and TTD Vigilance teams. Hanuman (H.A.N.U.M.A.N.) squads have also been alerted to monitor sensitive zones. Kalyan directed the removal of dense bushes to improve visibility, advised that devotees travel in groups, and emphasized creating awareness to prevent panic while ensuring robust security arrangements.
