Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Forests and Environment Pawan Kalyan expressed deep sorrow over the death of 65-year-old farmer B. Thimmareddy, who was killed in an elephant attack at Pallaguttapalli village in Pakala mandal of Tirupati district. He reviewed the details of the incident with Forest Department officials and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Pawan Kalyan said that despite continuous monitoring of elephant movements and timely alerts to nearby villages, such incidents remain unfortunate. He directed Forest Department officials and the district administration to visit the victim's family and ensure that compensation is provided immediately as per government norms.
