Pawan Kalyan Calls for Greater Transparency in Panchayat Raj Department!

Pawan Kalyan has directed officials to make the Panchayat Raj Department more transparent and accessible to the public. During a review meeting with senior officials of the Panchayat Raj and Panchayat Raj Engineering Departments, the Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister instructed authorities to develop a public dashboard displaying details of road construction works, development activities, and road conditions across the state.

He also appreciated the transparent online tax collection system implemented through the Swarna Panchayat Portal for the 2025-26 financial year. Pawan Kalyan highlighted the success of the Swachha Ratham initiative in solid waste management and directed officials to expand the Green Shop pilot project launched in Tirupati district across the state. He revealed that nearly 18.86 lakh kilograms of waste were collected in April through Swachha Rathams, generating waste worth around ₹3 crore.
