Three new MMTS stations are likely to come up in Hyderabad at Loyola College (Alwal), Anandbagh, and Moula Ali, following strong demands from daily commuters. The South Central Railway has forwarded the proposals to the Railway Board for approval, and an official announcement is expected soon.
At Loyola College, the need for additional stations has increased due to MMTS services operating between Ghatkesar and Sanathnagar. At Anandbagh, commuters currently face inconvenience as there is no station between Cherlapalli and Neredmet. A station here would ease travel for Malkajgiri residents. Similarly, a proposed station near Moula Ali railway quarters, where nearly 2,000 families reside, would significantly improve access to MMTS services.
