

The Central Government has informed Parliament that Telangana received ₹13,725.29 crore under the Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) between the financial years 2020–21 and 2026–27. The details were shared by Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary in a written reply to questions raised by Medak MP M. Raghunandan Rao in the Lok Sabha. According to the data, Telangana received ₹358 crore in 2020–21, ₹214 crore in 2021–22, ₹2,500.98 crore in 2022–23, ₹1,948.34 crore in 2023–24, ₹2,727.24 crore in 2024–25, ₹4,208.83 crore in 2025–26 and ₹1,767.90 crore so far in 2026–27.
In another written reply, Union Minister Harsh Malhotra informed Parliament that 410 youth from Telangana have applied for the Prime Minister Internship Scheme through the My Bharat portal. He stated that nearly 98,000 youth across the country have shown interest in the programme, which aims to provide skill development, industry exposure and employment opportunities. The replies provided clarity on the Centre's financial assistance to Telangana and the response to youth-focused employment initiatives in the state.
