Pakistan Awaits India’s Official Response

Pakistan’s Foreign Office has responded to remarks made by Dattatreya Hosabale regarding possible talks between India and Pakistan. The office stated that voices emerging from India in favour of dialogue are a positive development and welcomed such statements.

However, Pakistan clarified that any official proposal for talks must come directly from the Indian government and not from the RSS. It said further progress would depend on an official response from New Delhi. Recently, Dattatreya Hosabale said that doors for dialogue with Pakistan should never be completely closed and that discussions between the two nations are inevitable.
