Orange Alert Issued for Telangana as Heavy Rains Loom

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an Orange Alert for several districts of Telangana, warning of heavy rainfall over the coming days. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are also expected in many parts of the state. A Yellow Alert has been issued for Hyderabad and several other districts, urging residents to remain cautious. Weather forecasts indicate light to moderate rainfall across Telangana over the next seven days, with intermittent spells of rain.

According to the latest forecast, rainfall activity is likely to intensify from June 27 to July 2, with isolated places expected to receive heavy showers. Hyderabad could also witness heavy rainfall during the next 48 hours. Authorities have advised people to avoid unnecessary travel during intense spells of rain and remain alert to official weather updates.
