Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy praised N. T. Rama Rao as a great leader who showcased the self-respect of Telugu people to the world. He recalled that NTR earned a permanent place in the hearts of millions through his iconic roles as Lord Rama and Lord Krishna in cinema before stepping into public service. Leaving the film industry, he founded the Telugu Desam Party to serve the people and stood firmly against what he described as the arrogant politics of the Congress, thereby upholding Telugu pride.
Murthy further highlighted that NTR created history by winning 202 seats, setting a new direction for regional parties. He emphasized that NTR initiated welfare governance by abolishing land tax for farmers and prioritizing the upliftment of the poor and marginalized sections. He also credited NTR for establishing Padmavati Women’s University and granting property rights to women, strengthening empowerment. He added that N. Chandrababu Naidu is continuing NTR’s vision by steering the state towards development, while Nara Lokesh has inspired youth through the Yuva Galam Padayatra, building confidence among the people.
