NTPC Job, Fake Indian Identity.. Bangladeshi National Arrested!

A 42-year-old Bangladeshi national identified as Atiq Hussain has been arrested in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district for allegedly staying in India illegally using forged Indian identity documents. According to the information provided, he reportedly entered India from Narayanganj, Bangladesh, in 2005 and moved to Bilaspur in 2007.

Police allege that Hussain had been working as an elevator maintenance technician through private contractor BECO Lifts Pvt. Ltd. at the NTPC Sipat Super Thermal Power Station. During the investigation, officers reportedly recovered a fake Indian passport, Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, driving licence, domicile certificate, caste certificate and Class 9 mark sheet from his rented accommodation. Further investigation is underway, while deportation proceedings are also reportedly being initiated.
