Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Monday criticised the Modi government over the re-examination of UGC-NET papers. He demanded that the National Testing Agency (NTA) be held responsible for the issue. In a post on X, Rahul said the UGC-NET examinations for Sociology, English and Commerce were conducted between June 22 and 30.
Rahul said NTA has decided to cancel the examinations and conduct them again in September. Questioning the decision, he said students were being made to suffer for mistakes committed by the testing agency. He demanded accountability from NTA and questioned why students should bear the consequences of the agency’s errors.
