National Testing Agency (NTA) Director General Abhishek Singh made key remarks before a parliamentary committee regarding the alleged NEET UG 2026 question paper leak. He reportedly refused to officially accept that a paper leak had occurred, stating that confirmation would come only after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) completes its inquiry.
The issue was discussed before the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Youth Affairs, and Sports, chaired by Congress MP Digvijaya Singh. The committee had summoned NTA officials, including Chairman Pradeep Kumar Joshi, to explain allegations of irregularities. The matter has triggered nationwide concern, and reports suggest that a re-exam is scheduled for June 21, 2026.
