Telangana BJP organisational general secretary Madhukar and state co-in-charge Abhay Patil expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of the party’s state office-bearers. During a meeting of the state office-bearers, they reportedly gave leaders directions on strengthening the organisation and improving grassroots activity. Madhukar questioned how the party could come to power if leaders failed to remain active on the ground. He also pointed out that some individuals without active membership were holding state-level responsibilities.
Abhay Patil also reviewed allegations of misuse of funds during the municipal elections and warned that strict action would be taken against those found responsible. He said criminal cases could be filed if necessary. Patil questioned the functioning of district presidents, stating that most of them were staying at the Hyderabad headquarters instead of working in their respective districts. He made it clear that positions could no longer be secured through personal management and said the party leadership would directly monitor the tours and field activities of its leaders.
