The CBI investigation into the NEET paper leak case has uncovered a shocking new link involving a 46-year-old beautician from Pune. Officials identified Manisha Waghmare as a key connector in the alleged exam leak network. According to investigators, she used her contacts with tuition students and corporate school teachers to build a network that helped circulate the leaked question paper. Based on information provided by her, the CBI detained panel member Manisha Gurunath Mandare and chemistry lecturer PV Kulkarni, who are currently under investigation custody.
The probe also revealed that the racket allegedly charged nearly Rs 10 lakh per student for access to the leaked paper. In a major breakthrough, the CBI arrested coaching institute operator Shivraj from Latur, Maharashtra. During raids at his residence, investigators reportedly recovered copies of the leaked question paper. Sources say the accused obtained question-and-answer sets nearly ten days before the exam and distributed handwritten notes to selected students. Evidence suggests the notes were later destroyed after the examination to erase traces of the crime.
