The Telangana government has introduced a new security protocol at the State Secretariat by making QR code screening mandatory for every vehicle entering the premises. Officials said that vehicles will be allowed entry only after their QR codes are scanned at the security checkpoints.
Once scanned, the vehicle number, owner's name, and other relevant details will be recorded in an online database. The Special Protection Force (SPF) has made it clear that vehicles without QR code verification will not be permitted inside the Secretariat. The new system aims to curb impersonation, prevent employment-related fraud, and digitally monitor daily vehicle movement.
