

South Central Railway has announced a new Amrit Bharat Express service between Charlapalli Terminal in Hyderabad and Gorakhpur Junction in Uttar Pradesh. The non-AC superfast train is scheduled to commence its regular service in October 2026 and will operate once a week in both directions.
Train No. 22075 will depart from Charlapalli every Friday at 9:45 PM and reach Gorakhpur at 6:25 AM on Sunday. In the return direction, Train No. 22076 will leave Gorakhpur every Sunday at 8:30 AM and reach Charlapalli at 5:00 PM on Monday. The journey is expected to take around 32 hours and 40 minutes.
The train will feature modern non-AC coaches with general unreserved and sleeper class accommodation. Passenger amenities will include mobile charging points at seats and sealed gangways. Push-pull technology will be used to support faster operations, with the train capable of running at speeds of around 110 to 130 kmph.
The service will pass through Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. In Telangana, it will have stoppages at Kazipet, Peddapalli and Mancherial, before proceeding through Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Kanpur Central and Lucknow to Gorakhpur. The new service is expected to benefit migrant workers, students and other passengers travelling between Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh.
