Direct flight services between Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad and Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, have been officially launched by flyadeal. The inaugural flight was warmly welcomed on Monday by Airport CEO Kadeer Kadiravan, Head of Airport Operations Abdul Rahman Al Rasheed, and officials of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited. A ceremonial cake-cutting event was held, and the first flight was flagged off.
According to airport authorities, the flight departs Hyderabad daily at 7:55 AM and reaches Riyadh after a journey of approximately 5 hours and 40 minutes. The return flight departs Riyadh at 11:20 PM and lands in Hyderabad at 6:50 AM the next day. This new route is expected to enhance connectivity, boost travel convenience, and strengthen ties between India and Saudi Arabia.
