Nepal Flood Threat: Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary Calls Emergency Meet

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary convened an emergency meeting in view of the possibility of floodwaters entering the state from Nepal. The authorities were directed to closely monitor the situation and take precautionary measures in vulnerable areas. Special attention has been ordered on dams and embankments, which are to remain under 24-hour surveillance to prevent any untoward incident.

The Chief Minister also instructed officials to issue timely warnings to people living in low-lying areas through loudspeakers. He directed the NDRF and SDRF teams to remain fully prepared to handle any emergency situation. The administration has been asked to stay alert and ensure that necessary relief and rescue measures can be taken without delay if the flood threat intensifies.
