Nepal Devastation... Death Toll Crosses 1,200..!

Massive floods in Nepal have caused widespread devastation, with the death toll reportedly reaching 1,222. Even after a week, around 4,000 people remain unaccounted for, according to officials, including an estimated 583 foreign nationals. About 12,000 people have been moved to safer locations, while more than 20,000 personnel are involved in rescue and relief operations across the affected areas.

Thick layers of mud, damaged roads and difficult terrain are making search and rescue operations increasingly challenging. Rescue teams continue to search for those still missing. Meanwhile, the disaster has also affected Gyirong County in Tibet, where the death toll has reportedly risen to 21, while 541 people remain missing. Relief and rescue efforts are continuing in the affected regions.
