Sudden floods have caused extensive damage in Nepal’s Rasuwa district, destroying a hydropower plant and sweeping away houses and bridges. The Bhotekoshi River overflowed following heavy flooding, leaving several people missing and disrupting normal life in the affected areas.
The Nepal Army has launched rescue and relief operations to assist those affected by the floods. Authorities have also placed districts along the Bihar border in India on high alert as a precautionary measure amid concerns over the situation.
