

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the NEET UG re-examination conducted for admissions into MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and allied medical courses. Nearly 20 lakh candidates appeared for the examination held across 5,440 centres in 551 cities in India and 14 international cities. Out of them, 11.21 lakh candidates qualified for admission. A total of 65,087 students from the Telugu states appeared for the examination. Punjab's Aryan Gupta and Haryana's Panshul Bansal emerged as the top scorers with 715 out of 720 marks.
Students from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh delivered outstanding performances in the All India rankings. Veerayyagari Sahyu from Hanamkonda secured All India Rank 13 with 705 marks, while Bura Sai Charan (19), Kandagatla Anish (21), Andem Sai Charan Reddy (38), Mayukh Jayasimha (42), Kompella Sai Gayathri (83), Ruthumbika Mohanty (91) and Devish Srigopal Agarwal (123) were among the top performers. From Andhra Pradesh, Namala Prerana secured AIR 36, followed by Grandhi Hanish (74), Relangi Jaya Shanmukhi (86), Kondreddy Harika Devi Sri Anuhya (103), Vanga Srinivasa Reddy (125) and Vaddepalli Dushyant (126). The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct All India Quota counselling, while state authorities will manage state quota admissions. Telangana has 66 medical colleges offering 9,650 MBBS seats. Kaloji University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ramesh Reddy said state ranks will be announced soon and counselling is expected to begin in August after the All India counselling process.
