NEET Row Sparks Trolls Against Minister's Daughter

The controversy surrounding the alleged NEET examination paper leak has intensified across the country, with students and opposition parties demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Amid the protests, online criticism extended to his daughter, Naimisha Pradhan, who reportedly deactivated her Instagram account after receiving a wave of trolling on social media.

Naimisha Pradhan completed her Master of Laws (LLM) from Tufts University in Massachusetts, USA, in 2023 and currently works as a Senior Associate at the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF). Following the incident, many argued that while government policies and public officials can be criticised, targeting their family members over political issues crosses a line and should be avoided.
