NEET aspirants are facing fresh concerns after the release of the re-exam 2026 results conducted by the Centre following the paper leak controversy. Several students claim that their actual scores do not match the marks they expected after checking the final answer key. Some candidates have alleged that the difference is not just a few marks but a major variation.
Student Pratibha Trivedi stated that she expected around 638 marks out of 720 based on the final answer key, but her scorecard showed only 38 marks. She said many candidates are facing similar issues and that requests made to the Ministry of Education and the National Testing Agency (NTA) for OMR sheet verification have not received a proper response. Many students are now preparing to approach the courts.
