NASA has unveiled design images of a next-generation lunar vehicle aimed at helping astronauts travel more efficiently on the Moon’s surface during future missions. The new rover, named ‘CLV-1’, is being developed by Astrolab as part of NASA’s lunar exploration plans. The vehicle is expected to support astronauts in carrying equipment, conducting research and exploring longer distances safely on the lunar terrain.
According to reports, the advanced lunar vehicle could be delivered to NASA by 2028. The rover is being designed to withstand extreme lunar conditions while providing improved mobility for future Artemis missions. NASA officials believe the new transportation system will play a key role in expanding human exploration on the Moon and preparing for long-term lunar operations in the coming years.
