Nara Lokesh, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and IT, met Devendra Fadnavis, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, in Mumbai on Monday. The meeting focused on strengthening inter-state cooperation, investment opportunities, and policy exchange between the two states.
During the interaction, Lokesh presented insights on Andhra Pradesh’s “Speed of Doing Business” initiative, along with reforms in the education sector and skill development policies. He also explored Maharashtra’s best practices in IT and education sectors. The leaders exchanged symbolic gifts, including a Mangalagiri handloom shawl and a Lord Venkateswara idol presented by Lokesh, while the Maharashtra CM gifted a Ganesh idol in return.
