

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and IT Nara Lokesh held a Praja Darbar at the TDP central office in Mangalagiri on Thursday. He met people and TDP workers who had arrived at the party office with various grievances and personally received their petitions. Lokesh assured the visitors that their requests would be examined and efforts would be made to find solutions to the issues raised.
Representatives of the Welfare and Education Employees Association sought promotion channels and career advancement opportunities for welfare and education assistants working in village and ward secretariat systems. Representatives of the Banjara Dharma Raksha Samithi requested a monthly honorarium of Rs 15,000 for temple priests in tribal Banjara tandas and extension of the Dhupa, Deepa and Naivedyam scheme to Banjara temples. The Gopal Mitra Service Association sought job security and an increase in honorariums for Gopal Mitras across the state. C. Vijay Kumar from Chittoor district requested CC roads in Chikatapalle village of Gudupalli mandal and a BT road to the local cremation ground. Lokesh assured the petitioners that their grievances would be examined and necessary efforts would be made to address them.
